The Bible has a lot to state about what makes things delightful in God’s sight. It covers all territories of magnificence as characterized in Webster’s lexicon in this manner: “1. That quality or total of characteristics in a thing which offers delight to the faculties or pleasurably commends the mind or soul; physical, good, or profound flawlessness. 2. A lovely individual or thing, esp. a lovely lady. 3. A specific beauty, trimming, or greatness; anything lovely; as the delights of nature.” We would do bravo and others to see the things that are excellent in God’s sight. It is intriguing to take note of that “excellence” isn’t found in the New Testament and that “wonderful” is discovered just multiple times in it. “Delightful” is discovered multiple times and “excellence” is discovered multiple times in the Old Testament. “Delights” is found once and “improve” is discovered multiple times in the Old Testament.
The Bible refers to a few ladies as being delightful. It cautions men not to enable the excellence of a lady to lead them into two-faced exercises. The genuine excellence of a lady isn’t outer, yet rather it is an inward wonder that sparkles out of her excellent soul of adoration and consideration. This sort of a lady could never successfully tempt a man to submit infidelity or sex with her. She is urged to carry on with an existence of dedication to God and His ways. Such a lady won’t dress so as to be alluded to as being “attractive.” She won’t complement portions of her body to point out herself. See 1 Peter 3 for guidance on how this is to be done in a family setting.
The Bible educates us concerning the “excellence of heavenliness.” See 1 Chronicles 16:8-36. This is how we are to “love the LORD in the excellence of blessedness.” See 2 Chronicles 20:1-29 to perceive how the Israelites prevailed upon their foes when they applauded “the magnificence of heavenliness.” Psalm 29:2 guides us to “Provide for the LORD the brilliance because of His name; revere the LORD in the magnificence of sacredness.” Psalm 96 gives us the explanation we should “venerate the Lord in the excellence of sacredness:” and “dread before Him, all the earth.” The most wonderful thing that can happen to an individual is to “love God in soul and in truth.” 2 Corinthians 7:1 instructs us to consummate “sacredness.”
In Ecclesiastes 3:11 we are informed that God “has made everything delightful in now is the ideal time.” Timing has a lot to do with a lovely existence of blessed living. The greater part of you have most likely never known about this. In this section we discover 14 differentiating exercises that are “wonderful in now is the right time.” If the planning isn’t right, the activity is damaging to everybody included. The excellence is changed into remains.
No one but God can make an appalling thing wonderful. He can take an individual that is lost and fixed and make that individual into a vessel of respect. How He does this is past our regular capacity. Because an individual is monstrous energetic presently, doesn’t mean there is no expectation of consistently being changed into something lovely. The Bible and history bear witness to this. The declarations of God’s recovering affection and elegance are surrounding us.
In the Song of Solomon 7:1a we read, “How excellent are your feet with shoes, O sovereign’s girl!” On the other hand, Isaiah 52:7 and Romans 10:15b let us know “How lovely are the feet of them that lecture the good news of harmony, and bring happy greetings of beneficial things!” God is progressively keen on our feet being “shod with the readiness of the good news of harmony” instead of our delightful shoes. Man looks on the outward appearance and God takes a gander at the heart. See Ephesians 6:10-19 to perceive how the entire protective layer of the Lord makes for a wonderful sight in God’s eyes.
In synopsis, the things of God’s creation, regardless of whether physical or profound are lovely. The things that shame God are appalling. God is in the matter of transforming revolting things into delightful ones. See Isaiah 61 to perceive what God’s goals are for our lives.
